How to completely change your Dining Room
How to completely change your Dining Room for a updated or different look. First access your current room. Here’s some pictures of my current dining room. There’s actually not a lot wrong with it, in fact this sunny shade of deep yellow or gold is quite in right now. Its also a great colour for Nova Scotia weather here on the East coast. It’s been the same for 10 years now and it needs a change. My friends make fun of me because every time they come over the house looks different. Paintings get switches around, furniture gets moved lol… why not change can be good for a room. Follow me along as I transform this room with small changes but with big impact. Changes you can do at home too with following some simple rules.

Kitchen Renovation Series ~ Final Reveal ~
It’s pretty amazing that within weeks of starting this kitchen transformation that it is finally complete. I can’t tell you how the functionality of this kitchen is slowly changing the way we work and interact in our new space. Before having several people in the kitchen cooking at the same time wasn’t a lot of fun. We were always getting in each other’s way and more often then not it would end in…. “I’m getting out of here…lol” You do that and I’ll do something else because it we were always getting jammed up in the middle and it was just plain frustrating lol. Now your not going to believe the difference …
MUST SEE Kitchen Renovation Progress ~ Day 13 ~
It’s not the START and it’s not the FINAL but things are shaping up to look a lot more like a finished kitchen. Not counting the weekends it’s been almost two weeks since we started our Kitchen renovations. I can almost smell the cooking! Here’s whats gone on since my last update. As you see all the appliances have been installed, the wall oven, the sink, faucet and cooktop are all in place. Very exciting. It was nice over the weekend to be able to cook in the kitchen.
Summer Fun & Water Memories ~ Earth Day 2016
There’s certain memories you have as a kid that are so vivid and real it’s hard to believe they were so many years ago. That’s the thing about memories the good ones & bad ones can stick with you for years. What you remember as a kid and how if you close your eyes you could almost transport yourself back in time and relive the actual events.

My Earth Day story is all about swimming, water and so many feel good memories up at the cottage. For us, my two sisters and I were like a lot of kids that could.not.wait for summer vacation. Ours entailed getting ready to go to the cottage, a three hour drive from Toronto up North to Muskoka to be anchored into the small town life of Port Sandfield.

We literally were all packed and ready to go on our road trip the day school was let out for the summer! The anticipation of going to the cottage was so exciting especially when your a kid.
Kitchen Renovation Progress ~ Day 7 ~
Here we are seven days into our kitchen renovations and to be honest I’m enjoying the process. Whatttt??? Are you crazy your enjoying the mess. No not the mess lol ….and dust is not ideal but seeing my design come together and take shape is very exciting! When you dream about something for a long time and then come to the realization that it’s actually happening …..well that’s a great feeling! Before I show you the state of the kitchen with the tile backsplash here’s some background with what happened behind the scenes. We ordered the countertop and it was suppose to arrive last Thursday….
